Located in Rishap, a beautiful hamlet on the fringes of ‘Neora Valley National Park’ in the Kalimpong district of West Bengal, where serenity meets solitude, one might be overwhelmed, for a change, to nurture the amateur poet within :)

You will love to take a stroll around the village with daju along the stony paths lined with pine & maple trees & lots of wild bushes. Even more peace and privacy to move about and relax with your friends and family.

Rishap is an integral part of the well known Neora Valley at the foothills of Tiffindara in forests of pine, birch, maple, fir, colorful rhododendrons and orchids with a wonderful view of the vast range of Mt. Kanchenjunga and many other Himalayan snow peaks.
So if you are a nature lover, then Rishap is one place which you should keep in your ‘must do’ list. You won't get any city or town life. Which means no restaurants, drinks, food stores or shopping. It’s only the nature.
Walk through the forests of birch, fir, pine, maple, rhododendrons as you hear the chirping of the birds and gurgling of mountain streams with the Himalayan range in the background.

Visit Kalimpong
How to reach Rishap: From NJP railway station, Rishap is about 110kms via Kalimpong and 120kms via Gorubathan. Distance from Bagdogra airport would be an additional 10kms. It takes about 4 hours to reach Rishap from NJP.
From Kalimpong the distance is about 28kms via Algarah. As you take the main highway from Kalimpong (i.e. Rishi Road), after Algarah and at ‘6th Mile’, a steep gravel road goes up towards Rishap... this is the Rishap road. And you should ideally take a Jeep-type vehicle to negotiate this steep and highly bumpy dirt/gravel road. The normal cars will find it very difficult to handle this stretch of the route which is broken at several places.
We can arrange your pick up/drop to and from NJP/Bagdogra/Siliguri on prior notice.
