Set out to explore the village of Daragaon for this is known to be an organic village with exotic species of cacti, orchids and many herbal plants as well. The dense forests bordering the region gives it an exotic feel. Also, if one wishes to go further for sightseeing, tour packages could be arranged too.

Rooms & Inclusions
The homestay has two room types and can accommodate up to eight people. Painted in bright colours and with large windows letting in a lot of light and fresh air, the rooms are well-ventilated and very comfortable to live in. The rooms come with attached bathrooms and are fitted with basic facilities like a running hot water supply.
Standard Double Bedroom
The homestay has two Standard Double Bedrooms which are appointed with a double bed and can accommodate up to two people. Painted in bright colours and with the sun streaming in through the large windows, the interiors are cosy and provide a comfortable stay. The window from the room gives you a stunning panorama of the stay’s surroundings, which is sure to take your breath away. The room has an attached bathroom and hot water on request and fitted with all the essential amenities. Perfect for couples or small families.
Standard Four Bedded Room
The Quadruple (4-bedded) room makes this stay ideal for a family. It comes with 2 double beds that can accommodate up to four people, have thin mattresses, neat linen and thick blankets. The room has a table and chairs, and it offers scenic views of its surroundings. The room comes with an attached bathroom well equipped with necessary fittings.

How to Travel
Echeygaon is situated around 89 km from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) (Siliguri), the nearest railhead and 94 km from Bagdogra Airport (IXB). It will take around 3-3.5 hours to reach from Siliguri depending on traffic. One can reach NJP or Bagdogra from all major metros or via Kolkata. The most comfortable way to reach Echeygaon would be to hire a private car/cab from Siliguri. One may hire a private car from Kalimpong as well, after reaching Kalimpong by a shared cab/bus from Siliguri. The distance from Kalimpong to Icche Gaon is around 18 km.
Things to do
You can choose to spend your time alone, soaking up all the light warm sun, reading a book or paint, if you have a creative bent and enjoy the majestic views of the Himalayan peaks and the valley. The silence and the cool breeze of the Himalayas will give you enough time to introspect.
Various tourist hotspots like Kalimpong, Sillery Gaon, Zuluk, Silk route, Darjeeling, GNathang Valley and Lava could be visited while here. If it’s a serene respite in the mountains that you seek, this homestay in Echeygaon would be the ideal holiday spot for you.
25% deposit is charged in by Bhramonik upon reservation. 50% of total to be paid in behalf of Burmaik Homestay after booking. Final balance to be paid to Burmaik Homestay after arrival.
If government travel restrictions or hotel closure prevents your stay, the initial deposit paid to Bhramonik may be freely transferred to a future booking through Bhramonik (T&Cs apply).
For cancellations less than 90 days before arrival, Burmaik Homestay will keep/charge 50% of total. For cancellations less than 30 days before arrival, Burmaik Homestay will keep/charge full amount. For no-shows or early departures, Burmaik Homestay will keep/charge full amount. Cancellation fees kept by Burmaik Homestay may be used for a future stay at this property.
