Temi Tea Homestay

Sits in the lap of the Tendong hill...a perfect getaway to a place that is serene & quiet coupled with the majestic scenic beauty of nature in all its glory with simple and cosy accommodation.

Temi Tea Homestay, a lesser known, comforting homestay in the alluring hills of South Sikkim, adjacent to the famous Temi Tea Estate is great place to enjoy a day or two close to nature. Owing to stringent rules in Sikkim, all the places are plastic free and unpolluted with lots and lots of greenery thriving around.

The homestay on the way to Ravangla from Namchi, is resplendent amongst the beautiful hills, and gives a wonderful view of the mighty Kangchenjunga as well as the coniferous forest laden hills lying one after another, creating a huge canvas for an amazing painting that changes with each season, year after year.

The Temi Tea Gardens are a stones throw away from the homestay. Early morning to late afternoon, long trails of women workers move around the garden slopes with huge cane baskets, plucking tender most tea leaves for the perfect brew, humming sweetest melodies on the way, while wisps of clouds rise up from the valleys as if Mother Earth is content with its well being. The stillness and solitude is disturbed only by the soulful cries of the avian species. Sure enough to elbow out tensions and pretensions of our mundane lives.
