The owners are a physician couple who have converted their home into a posh homestay in the lap of nature and are warm and welcoming towards their guests. You can have a great time in the calm sorroundings of this hideaway yet leave very little carbon foot print behind. That is sustainable and responsible tourism in the truest sense.
With comfortable, minimalistic decor and great options to spend time with yourself and nature, the posh nature stay has 2 A frame wooden cottages, 2 family cottages as well as camping ground for those who love it that way. What's more, not a single tree was cut down during construction and you still have stunning views of Mt. Narsing, Pandim etc from the rooms and lawns. The rooms are fitted with attached bath and geyser and has electric kettle for a warm cuppa when ever you like.
Food is homecooked from locally sourced or homegrown produce. They have a trained cook who does great cooking. For barbecue, only chicken is offered. The ambience is perfect for people who love the serene solitude of the lush green hills, clouds, views of snow capped peaks and appreciate digital detox on a holiday.
There is wi-fi system if you really need it though. With a cool sit out area dotted with flowers and orchids and ample space to lounge, bon fire and barbeque could be arranged on request. The homestay also has a library, board games for kids and badminton courts. Guided treks could be arranged for a rejuvenating experience in the forests or the sparsely populated villages.
The hosts and their staff offer excellent hospitality and it is a pleasure to learn so much about sustainability and balanced way of living from them.
