room with all meals for a guest
Beautifully decorated rooms with lounge and sitting area call for a great weekend or holiday in the hills. The 9 cottages at various elevations are spread over 3 units and all are well furnished, have attached washrooms and are spacious, clean and carefully planned. Out of these, one is a specially designed Nepali traditional mud hut. The highlight of the retreat is the rooftop space that is tastefully decorated and overlooks the Dokalam peaks of Bhutan. It has everything that can keep guests happy for days, starting from mesmeric views to books, board games for children,a couple of musical instruments and bonfire arrangement. Hosts are excellent, we always get good reviews from our guests regarding their hospitality.
Food and hospitality are top notch. The in-house restaurant needs special mention for authentic Bhutia cuisine. Dimsums, Shamu datshi, Kewa datshi, etc are extremely flavourful. You would love the ema datshi which is chilli in cheese sauce, suja is butter tea and Jao is a crunchy snack for a fullfilling breakfast. Spices and vegetables are mostly sourced locally or home grown.
