This heritage property near the Assi Ghat belongs to Late Raj Narsing Padam Sharan Shah of Vijaigarh, who purchased it in 1937 and it was later converted into a luxury homestay. The haveli style luxury homestay has a royal and vintage vibe but is fitted with modern amenities and in-house restaurant. You will love the refined aesthetics once you step inside, specially the architechture, furniture, upholstery, art works, arched doorways and windows. Food is excellent and hospitality is top notch. Being close to the Assi Ghat, you can get the true essence of this ancient city with its temples, ghats, ringing of the arti bells and the Ganga river flowing incessantly. How to reach Benaras or Varanasi:
Benaras or Varanasi is well connected to other parts of the country with a good network of flights, trains and buses.
• The Varanasi Airport, popular as Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport is well connected with various prime Indian cities while Varanasi railway junction, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya railway junction and Kashi railway station are the three major railheads serving the city.
• The Varanasi railway junction (BSB), Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) railway junction and Kashi railway station (KEI) are the three main railheads in Baranasi. Travellers can make their travel bookings till either of these three stations. Both these railway stations are well linked with prime Indian cities via extensive rail network. Auto rickshaws, autos and rickshaws are easily available from outside these railway stations.
• Most of trains comming from Kolkata have the stopage at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) Junction, prevously known as Mughalsarai. 24 hrs share and reserved car /auto services are available from here to Beniya Park. Will take 45 mnts. approx.
• Next station after DDU is Kashi (KEI). Eastern Railways those are comming to Banaras have stopage af Kashi.
