The retreat is located near the Chilapata forest check post. Further ahead you take a left turn towards Mendabari. This is another area of the jungle which is full of dense forest and wildlife. There are many routes through the forest to explore if you have time.

The property has 04 Forest Villas which has 02 well decorated rooms in each villas to serve the guest. One can find excellent amenities & facilities to flatter all five sens.
Rooms are well equipped and the service is excellent. From the balcony, we can view the jungle and feel the cool breeze. The location of the rooms are absolutely perfect. The scenery is beautiful and it is a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment.

Things to do
Jungle Safari is the most attractive part of Chilapata. You can experience wilderness in the dense forest of Chilapata. The jungle safari also allows you to witness the historical ruins of the fort, built in the Gupta Era during the fifteenth century. Another beautiful point is Mendabari Watchtower located in the vicinity of the riverbank of Kunai. The watchtower offers you the scenic beauty of the river Kunai flowing through Chilapata.
The Chilapata Retreat is located 24 kms from Hasimara and 55 kms from New Alipuduar Junction and 159 kms from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Travellers needs to take permission at the Kodalbasti check post to enter Chilapata forest Area. One Can enjoy one hour road Journey full of excitement & adventure from Kodalbasti Gate to the Retreat.
25% deposit is charged in by Bhramonik upon reservation. 50% of total to be paid in behalf of Retreat at Chilapata after booking. Final balance to be paid to Retreat at Chilapata after arrival.
If government travel restrictions or hotel closure prevents your stay, the initial deposit paid to Bhramonik may be freely transferred to a future booking through Bhramonik (T&Cs apply).
For cancellations less than 90 days before arrival, Retreat at Chilapata will keep/charge 50% of total. For cancellations less than 30 days before arrival, Retreat at Chilapata will keep/charge full amount. For no-shows or early departures, Retreat at Chilapata will keep/charge full amount. Cancellation fees kept by Retreat at Chilapata may be used for a future stay at this property.
